Apply for a Mumbrite Community Grant

Bring your trusted community onto Mumbrite and lead culturally connected peer-support sessions for mothers and families.

Applications close 1 January 2027 at 11.59pm GMT.

Before you begin

This is for communities already doing the work.

We want to support mums, informal groups, CICs, charities and social enterprises who have a clear idea, a genuine community connection and a commitment to thoughtful peer support on Mumbrite.

Bring your communityShow us how you already reach mothers — through your sessions, networks, Instagram, website or trusted community relationships.
Design a real seriesYour sessions can be 30 or 60 minutes, held weekly, daily or another sensible rhythm, and can run for up to six months.
Lead with careWe are looking for safe, welcoming peer support — not clinical therapy — with clear boundaries and appropriate signposting.
Make it culturally connectedWe are encouraging support that is responsive to African, Caribbean, Asian, mixed heritage and other diverse maternal communities.

The application

Tell us about your idea.

This is a considered application and should take around 15–20 minutes. Please tell us clearly what you would run, who it is for, how it would work and how you would use a micro-grant of up to £500.

What happens next: applications are assessed after the closing date. Successful sessions will be planned to begin from late January 2027. A submitted form confirms receipt only; it is not a funding offer.
