Improving quality and safety
Listen2Baby is three-year programme, funded by the NIHR, which is aiming to improve the way that midwives monitor the fetal heart for women who are having an uncomplicated labour.
The Motherhood Group joined the Stakeholder Group for the NIHR-funded Listen2Baby project, which aims to improve the quality and safety of fetal monitoring in uncomplicated labour (intermittent auscultation).
In line with national standards
The role of the Stakeholder Group was specifically to:
1. Ensure that the Listen2Baby project is informed in a timely way by relevant national maternity/neonatal safety, policy, education and other initiatives
2. Contribute specialist insight and expertise to the research
3. Contribute to the experience-based co-design process
4. Advise and support dissemination and implementation
